Tajweed for Kids, Made Simple
For children who can read but need to read correctly: clear sounds, the key rules and confident recitation.
What your child will learn
- Makharij: where each sound comes from, with mouth-and-throat demos on camera.
- Heavy and light letters, so similar letters stop sounding the same.
- Noon saakin and tanween, and meem saakin rules.
- Madd: how long to stretch, with clapping counts for younger kids.
- Stopping signs: where to pause and how to start again.
Gentle correction, not red ink
Kids shut down when every word is corrected. Our teachers pick the one or two mistakes that matter most this week, praise what is right, and come back to the rest later. The teacher highlights the exact word on the shared screen so your child sees as well as hears the fix.
Ages 6–9
Learn by ear: listen, repeat, compare.
Ages 10–12
Simple rule names and colour-coded examples.
Ages 13–14
Self-checking their own recitation, plus beautiful, steady reading.

Parents ask
My child reads fast but makes mistakes. Is this the right course?
Yes. Many children read fluently but blur letters or skip lengthening. The teacher slows things down, fixes one habit at a time and rebuilds speed correctly.
Will my child have to memorize rule names?
Only a little, and only once they are older. Younger children learn by hearing and copying. Older kids learn the names so they can check their own reading.
